Research Interests
Christy Till’s research tackles fundamental questions pertaining to how magmas shape planets and volcanic hazards. Her contributions include quantifying magma fluxes and understanding eruption triggers and timescales at volcanoes such as the Three Sisters (OR) and Yellowstone (WY). Her expertise also includes understanding mantle melting in a range of contexts, including magma genesis on exoplanets. She is also a champion of open and inclusive science, as well as improving science communication.
